Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Centre Shift Leader in London to manage day-to-day operations of critical environments, ensuring reliability and safety. You will coordinate M&E shift teams, manage workload, and liaise with contractors to deliver planned preventative maintenance and reactive work within SLAs.

The role requires electrical qualifications, experience in data centres, and strong communication skills to maintain CBRE GWS standards and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Electrical Competency Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.
• Experience in Critical Environments and data centres.
• Familiar with Permit to Work systems and electrical switching.
• 18th Edition IEE Regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift staff, holidays, sickness cover and appraisals.
• Plan workload and ensure PPM/CM work orders meet SLAs.
• Act as point of contact for technical service delivery.
• Lead shift training using scenarios and lessons learned.
• Ensure health and safety compliance across CBRE GWS teams.
