Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a driven Business Developer to accelerate growth in data centre projects across the UK and Europe. You will engage owners and engineers early, shape specs, and align sales teams through the project lifecycle.

Reporting to the UK Business Development Manager, you’ll build relationships, manage long cycles, and represent Victaulic in industry associations. Travel across the region is expected.

Qualifications

• A degree in mechanical engineering, or business management, or equivalent technical grounding.
• Hands-on technical knowledge and genuine curiosity about evolving product portfolios, market trends, and standards.
• Existing relationships with Data Center owners and MEP engineers in the data centre market.
• A track record of success in business development, sales, or account management.
• Sharp project management, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify major data centre projects early and engage planning offices and design teams.
• Build relationships with data centre owners and engineers to influence design decisions.
• Expand Victaulic's footprint within key accounts across the region.
• Maintain close communication with commercial sales teams across the UK and Europe.
• Keep Salesforce records up to date with stakeholders, timelines, and next steps.
• Coordinate with the UK BDM and wider team on national and international activity.
• Represent Victaulic in industry associations and raise company profile.
