An established environment and design practice in the East Midlands is seeking a Data and Equipment Technician to support survey data processing and equipment management. The successful candidate will engage in responsibilities such as maintaining data workflows and assisting IT teams as needed. This full-time role emphasizes strong organizational and IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel, in a supportive environment with various career development benefits.
We are excited to announce a new position for data and equipment technician who’s highly organised with strong IT skills and an interest in all things data.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ingesting and processing survey data from our Ecologists and managing the equipment needed to perform these surveys. They will also be responsible for the processing and archiving of data ensuring it is available to Ecologists as required by our clients for use in technical reports.
The role is office based in our Lockington Hall office (near Derby and Nottingham) and would form a part of our wider business support teams. Outside of the Ecology season, there will be some involvement assisting the IT team including further data management as necessary.
Salary: £24,000 per annum.
This role will be full time 35 hours per week in our Lockington Hall office on an initial 6 month fixed term contract. As you will be managing and ingesting data from physical media, this role will require 100% office attendance.
