The role allows for 60%-100% FTE, primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings. Successful candidates will have a STEM degree and experience coding in R or Python. The position offers a salary of £35-45k FTE, plus pension contributions. An understanding of the UK retail environment is a plus, alongside good communication skills.
Beauclair is a data company that uses Big Data for the benefit of local communities.
Drawing on a dataset of billions of transactions, we have created a range of trusted and innovative products for Local Authorities, Business Improvement Districts and similar organisations to help them to monitor the economic health of their retail districts and to deliver usable insights for decision-makers. As well as a subscription service, we undertake special client commissioned projects. We have ambitious goals of scaling up to be able to offer a highly cost-effective, user-focused data service for high streets across the country.
We are seeking a Data Analyst to: 1) support the delivery and presentation of client data, 2) to undertake product development, and 3) to generate novel insights from our data.
The role is being offered for between 60%-100% FTE (equivalent to 3-5 days per week).
Beauclair is open to hiring candidates located across the UK and the role can be performed on a mostly remote basis or at an office location. Alternatively, the Data Analyst can elect to work at an appropriate coworking office space. If the role is filled remotely, there will be the expectation of in-person attendance at meetings in London or events around the UK for an agreed minimum number of days (~20) per year.
You will be supported by the rest of the Beauclair team: Chief Data Officer (line manager), marketing and sales manager, client relations manager and our director.
As the business grows there is the potential for you to make a strong impact in ensuring that local communities across the UK can access the benefits of the Big Data revolution.
