Job summary

CDW is seeking a Solution Sales Specialist – Data & AI in the UK to drive value for customers by improving data readiness, governance and AI adoption. You will lead end-to-end sales engagements with senior stakeholders across private and public sectors, combining data platform, governance and analytics to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivering sales growth in data/AI space.
• Ability to translate data concepts into business value for non-technical audiences.
• Experience engaging with board-level stakeholders and senior decision makers.
• Knowledge of structured sales processes and CRM forecasting.
• Experience collaborating with vendor/partner field teams (e.g., Microsoft).
• Experience contributing to bids, proposals and customer meetings.

Responsibilities

• Engage proactively with customers to understand business challenges and position tailored Data & AI solutions for senior decision makers.
• Qualify and lead initial business discussions, establishing data estate readiness requirements.
• Lead the data readiness for AI conversations and develop a phased commercial roadmap.
• Scope and sell data discovery, profiling and AI-readiness assessments as entry points to broader transformation.
• Prepare proposals, business cases, and pitches; own opportunities and forecast accurately.
• Obtain design wins and close commercial deals while maintaining customer satisfaction.
