Job summary

Mears in Leeds is seeking an experienced Planner to join the Damp & Mould team. You will coordinate and schedule inspections, treatments and follow-on works, ensuring appointments are planned efficiently and works progress promptly.

You will allocate operatives and subcontractors, optimise productivity and prioritise urgent cases. This role requires liaising with Supervisors, Managers, Administrators and residents, maintaining accurate records in the job management system, and monitoring

Qualifications

• Experience as a Planner/Scheduler in social housing or repairs
• Good understanding of repairs and maintenance operations
• Ability to plan and prioritise workloads including urgent cases

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule damp and mould inspections, treatments and follow-on works
• Allocate operatives and subcontractors to maximise productivity
• Monitor daily schedules and manage outstanding or follow-on works
• Maintain regular communication with residents and stakeholders
• Ensure accurate records in job management systems and audit trails
• Support performance monitoring against service targets
