Job summary

Mears is seeking a skilled Supervisor for a social housing damp and mould contract in Leeds. This leadership role combines office and field work, overseeing reactive repairs and damp & mould activities across occupied homes to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.

A strong focus on resident satisfaction and team coaching is essential. Applicants should have a City & Guilds trade qualification and proven supervisory experience in housing repairs, with a good grasp of health and safety and

Qualifications

Experience in a Supervisor role within social housing, ideally delivering damp & mould and property condition works.
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, compliance, and quality standards within housing repairs.
Proven ability to lead and manage repairs teams with a damp & mould focus.
Resident-focused communicator with a practical, solutions-driven approach.

Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day delivery of reactive repairs and damp & mould works across occupied homes.
Ensure works are completed safely, on time and to agreed quality standards.
Allocate operatives, subcontractors, and resources to meet KPIs and targets.
Lead and coach repairs operatives and identify training needs in the team.
Monitor progress with repairs systems and reports and resolve resident issues promptly.
