Job summary

Mears Group PLC in Leeds is seeking an experienced Planner to coordinate damp and mould inspections, treatments and follow-on works. You will schedule multi-trade activities, allocate operatives, and maintaining accurate records while delivering a responsive, customer-focused service.

You will work closely with operational teams, residents and suppliers to prioritise urgent cases and ensure efficient progression of works in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Planner/Scheduler in social housing or repairs environment.
• GCSEs (English and Maths) completed.
• Experience scheduling damp and mould inspections and follow-on works is a plus.
• Strong understanding of repairs and maintenance operations.
• Experience scheduling multi-trade operatives using scheduling systems.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workloads including urgent cases.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proficient with ICT systems and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule damp and mould inspections, treatments, repairs and follow-on works efficiently.
• Allocate operatives and subcontractors to maximize productivity.
• Monitor daily schedules and manage outstanding and overdue works to completion.
• Prioritise urgent and high-risk cases for prompt progress.
• Coordinate with Supervisors, Managers, and contractors to align works.
• Maintain clear communication with residents regarding appointments and progress.
