Job summary

Mears Group in Leeds is seeking a skilled Supervisor to lead our damp and mould repairs team within social housing. You will oversee reactive repairs across occupied properties, ensuring safety, compliance, and timely completion while maintaining resident satisfaction.

The role combines office and field leadership, with a strong pipeline of work and opportunities to develop your team and processes in a growing regional presence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Supervisor role within social housing.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, compliance, and quality standards.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience leading damp & mould repairs.
• Resident‑focused communicator with a practical approach.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day delivery of responsive repairs and damp & mould works across occupied homes.
• Ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
• Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress and resident satisfaction.
• Allocate operatives, subcontractors and resources to meet KPIs.
• Lead and develop repairs operatives, providing coaching and support.
• Manage repairs assets including vans, tools and PPE.
