Job summary

DGH Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting a D365 Engineer for a permanent hybrid role in Manchester. You will own the D365 platform design authority, guiding CRM, customer service features and platform governance across the business.

You'll define architecture for Power Platform and Dataverse, manage ALM, and drive upgrades, licensing and technical debt while partnering with developers and external delivery partners to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience, especially Customer Service/CRM.
• Knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse; Copilot Studio exposure desirable.
• Strong understanding of D365 architecture, data and security models, integration patterns and ALM.
• Experience setting technical direction, reviewing designs and supporting developers.
• Experience working with Microsoft delivery partners, with governance, licensing and security knowledge.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-600, MB-230, MB-210 or equivalent are desirable.
• Exposure to Azure integration services, Microsoft Fabric, Foundry, Copilot or Customer Insights is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the D365 platform and act as design authority for CRM/customer service initiatives.
• Define and evolve D365 and Power Platform architecture (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio).
• Manage environment life cycles and establish best practices for security, data models and ALM.
• Own the technical roadmap: upgrades, releases, capacity, licensing and technical debt.
• Provide technical direction to developers, review designs and resolve complex issues.
• Govern the effective use of Power Platform and scale platform capability across teams.
• Manage delivery partners and liaise with Microsoft for platform developments.
• Support D365 incident resolution, release readiness and continuous improvement.
