Job summary

A leading UK organisation is seeking an experienced D365 Finance Functional Consultant to shape and optimise their D365 Finance solution. In this permanent role, you will deliver hands-on configuration, work with Finance stakeholders to document requirements, and ensure successful system adoption. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Dynamics 365, especially in finance modules, and possess excellent stakeholder management skills. This position is based in Greater London.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience with D365 Finance & Operations in Finance modules.
  • Strong knowledge of GL, FA, AP, AR processes.
  • Experience in manufacturing or production-led organisations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.

D365 Finance Functional Consultant – Permanent (UK-Based)

Our client, a leading UK organisation with multiple sites across England, is seeking an experienced D365 Finance Functional Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will play a key part in shaping, configuring, and optimising the D365 Finance solution across the business.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver hands-on configuration, customisation, and optimisation of D365 Finance modules.
  • Work closely with Finance stakeholders to gather, translate, and document business requirements into functional system solutions.
  • Lead and support end-to-end delivery across Finance including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, AP, AR, Cash & Bank, and related sub-ledgers.
  • Provide functional guidance in a manufacturing environment, ensuring processes align with finance operations and industry best practice.
  • Support testing cycles, user training, and post-go-live activities to ensure successful system adoption.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Strong, demonstrable experience working with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, specifically within the Finance modules.
  • Deep functional knowledge across GL, FA, AP, AR, and core financial processes.
  • Proven background delivering D365 solutions in manufacturing or production-led organisations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge finance operations and technical teams.
