Skills

Knowledge of network security fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)

Experience with SIEM & SOC tooling (e.g., Splunk, Elastic, Sentinel)

Familiarity with EDR/Endpoint security platforms (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, etc.)

Hands-on with vulnerability scanning & remediation (Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS)

Linux/Windows administration competency

Cloud security awareness (AWS/Azure/GCP + IAM principles)

Scripting/automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)

Understanding of secure coding / OWASP Top 10

Working knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials

Incident triage, log analysis, and threat investigation capability

Strong communication, problem solving, and teamwork skills

Relevant cyber certifications welcome (Security+, CySA+, CISSP, OSCP, etc.)
