Customer Team Member

Location: 449 Prescot Road, St Helens, WA10 3BD. Pay: £12.60 per hour. Contract: 12 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part‑time. Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends – to be discussed at interview. Role includes working in our in‑store bakery.

You organize have to be aged 18 or over to apply for this role as it may involve working before 6 am or after 10 pm, or some other business‑related needs.

What you’ll do

Friendly and thoughtful service – you’ll put customers first in everything you do: respond to queries, champion Co‑op products, membership, work in our in‑store bakery and deliver a great shopping experience.

Work together to make everyone’s day better – support your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.

Make sure the store is safe and legal – keep shelves stocked and ensure prices, dates and temperatures are all as they should be.

Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together.

Support your local community – get involved in all kinds of activities and events.
