The Role

The successful candidate will join a forward-facing team providing efficient and welcoming library services at Senate House Library. Responsibilities include front-line and administrative duties, with a focus on interlibrary loans (ILL) and document supply.

Key duties include assisting users with information and membership inquiries in person and online, processing ILL requests, managing circulation and collection administration, and document scanning.

The role requires a methodical approach, confidence with IT systems, and problem-solving skills to work effectively with readers and staff.

This position involves working on a rota basis, including Saturdays (up to once every four weeks), and occasional later hours (up to 7 pm). Time Off In Lieu will be provided for Saturday work and additional hours.
