About Our Client

You will be working for a Government Organisation based in Central London.

Job Description

The key duties of this role are as follows:

  • Process requests (e.g., loan and deposit applications) in accordance with internal controls and facility terms
  • Handle premature loan repayments ensuring timely settlement of funds
  • Respond to stakeholder queries promptly
  • Produce reports and statistics for internal and external stakeholders, including Senior Management
  • Support the wider team on policy issues
  • Prepare materials and facilitate meetings with stakeholders
  • Liaise with stakeholders to meet service requirements, seek and implement process improvements, and monitor issues affecting Public Sector finance
  • Maintain and update operational procedures as needed
  • Ensure business continuity arrangements are understood and current
  • Seek process improvements and manage operational risk within the business change framework

The Successful Applicant

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Strong attention to detail and delivery focus
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactivity in identifying process improvements; previous business change experience is a plus
  • Excellent time management for reporting within tight deadlines
  • At least one year's client service experience; financial markets knowledge and experience preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong data handling skills
  • Ability to prepare financial reports and conduct fund reconciliations

A relevant degree and qualification are preferred; IOC qualification (IMC) is desirable.
