Job summary

Hereford Hospital in Hereford is seeking a Customer Services Advisor to welcome patients and visitors with confidence and empathy. You will handle enquiries, support the bookings team and help shape service delivery across the hospital.

You will communicate clearly, work flexibly, and use basic Word and Excel. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) and pays £25,038 per annum, with a benefits package including cycle-to-work and financial wellbeing support.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries (telephone and internet) and provide service information.
• Support Hospital Bookings Teams to resolve customer queries.
• Introduce new processes to improve customer advice and service.
• Assist in developing and implementing business development and marketing plans.
• Provide advice to team members and the wider hospital.
• Develop constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote the Nuffield Health brand across stakeholders.

As a Customer Services Advisor at our Hereford Hospital you'll bring great communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone. You're flexible, motivated and you show plenty of initiative. You also have basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.

As a Customer Services Advisor, you will:

• To handle customer enquiries (both telephone and internet), supplying potential customers with information about the services offered at the hospital including providing procedure quotations & nurturing the patients pathway.
• To support the Hospital Bookings Teams to ensure that customer requirements/queries are effectively dealt with.
• To introduce new processes to improve customer advise and service, as required
• To support the definition, development, communication and implementation of business development and marketing plans and activities.
• To provide advice and guidance to other team members and the wider hospital
• To develop constructive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• To promote the Nuffield Health brand consistently across all stakeholders, supporting the implementation of national brand values and guidelines.
