Booker is seeking a Duty Manager to lead a team of over 40 colleagues at our Oxford site, playing a pivotal role in the store's management team. You will shape customer service and operational standards in a fast-moving wholesale environment.

You will be responsible for staff training, payroll records, debt management, and resolving customer issues while collaborating with other department supervisors to ensure smooth deliveries and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Able to lead, coach and manage a team.
• Experience supervising or managing a team in retail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the team comply with legal standards and company procedures at all times.
• Train the team in cash handling to minimise losses.
• Recover overdue or failed payments from customers.
• Maintain accurate and timely payroll records.
• Engage with customers to resolve issues and improve service.
• Liaise with other Supervisors to monitor orders for delivery.
• Manage a team of customer-focused colleagues at reception and checkout.
