Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Customer Service & Sales Adviser to join the team and help customers resolve car-related issues. The role requires proven experience in a telephone sales or customer service setting within the motor industry.

You will manage calls, upsell services, handle live chats, and ensure accurate data and invoicing while coordinating with the technical team to support customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years' experience in customer services/sales within the motor industry.
• Excellent internal and external communication.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound & outbound calls.
• Upselling products & services to maximise sales.
• Handling live chat enquiries online with confidence.
• Providing accurate information to customers over the phone or in person.
• Updating customer records and internal database as needed.
• Creating invoices, proformas, and credit notes.
• Generating courier labels for outbound & inbound deliveries.
• Liaising with internal technical team.
• Acting as the link between customers and technical staff.

Our client is looking for someone with proven experience in a telephone sales or customer service role.

To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:

• A minimum of 1-2 years' experience within a customer services/sales role witing the motor industry
• Excellent internal and external communication
• Proficient in MS Office

• Excellent telephone manner

Within this position, you'll also be:

• Spotting opportunities to upsell products & services for maximising sales
• Handling live chat enquiries online with confidence
• Providing accurate information to customers, whether over the phone or in person
• Updating customer records and our internal database as needed
• Creating invoices, proformas, and credit notes

• Liaising effectively with our internal technical team
• Acting as the vital link between customers and technical staff

Salary & Working Hours

• Salary is £30,000 per annum
• Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm (Office based)
• 24 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
