Job summary

Ambitions Personnel in Lincoln is seeking a Dispatcher to schedule work for our field teams, liaise with customers, technicians and internal departments, and deliver a high standard of service. You will work 37 hours weekly on a rotating shift, including weekends, with fully paid training and mentoring.

The role requires strong administration and communication skills, and the ability to prioritise, multi-task and stay organised in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

As a Dispatcher, you’ll be responsible for scheduling work efficiently for our field-based teams within your assigned area. You’ll work closely with customers, technicians, and internal departments to ensure jobs are completed on time while delivering a high standard of customer service. The role requires someone who can prioritise tasks effectively, adapt to changing demands, and remain organised in a fast-paced environment.

You will work 37 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern between 7:00am and 9:30pm, Monday to Sunday. Weekend and Bank Holiday working will also be required as part of the rota.

We’re looking for someone with strong administration and communication skills, who is confident in handling multiple tasks and working under pressure. You should be able to work both independently and collaboratively, while demonstrating initiative, accountability, and excellent time management.

No previous planning experience? No problem. We provide a full training and mentoring programme to support you throughout your new career. This includes fully paid classroom-based training with our dedicated training team, followed by ongoing mentoring from experienced planners and continuous support from Team Leaders and colleagues.
