Job summary

Speedy Freight Hereford is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to be the first point of contact for customers, drivers and suppliers. You will manage bookings, respond to emails and keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have customer service experience, be confident on the phone, organised and capable of multitasking. Training is provided and there is real scope to grow with a supportive, friendly team.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or phone-based experience is helpful, but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find transport solutions with outstanding service.
• Build great relationships with customers over the phone and by email.
• Handle customer enquiries and transport bookings.
• Coordinate deliveries with drivers and suppliers.
• Keep customers updated throughout their journey.
• Solve problems quickly and confidently.
• Work with colleagues to deliver the best possible service.
• Learn how to identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts.
• Help generate new business through excellent customer conversations.
