Speedy Freight, a busy Swindon-based logistics branch, is seeking a Customer Support Executive to manage calls, bookings and supplier coordination with a focus on high-quality service. You will build relationships, handle enquiries and support growth in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or similar roles is advantageous.
• Confident on the phone and able to communicate clearly with customers and suppliers.
• Organised, able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Team player who enjoys helping colleagues and learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers, drivers and suppliers by phone and email.
• Handle customer enquiries and transport bookings with accuracy.
• Coordinate deliveries with drivers and suppliers to ensure on-time performance.
• Keep customers updated on their journey and resolve issues quickly.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts and learn from interactions.
• Contribute to new business through proactive customer conversations.
• Support the branch's growth by assisting in business development activities.
