Responsibilities

• Greet customers and offer assistance.
• Handle queries courteously and efficiently.

• Assist with packing and safe handling of goods.
• Maintain harmonious relationships with staff and third parties.
• Keep trolleys and baskets available and tidy car park.
• Assist in other departments, including tills during busy periods.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an inspirational team as a part time Customer Service Assistant – Tills / Trolleys for the Christmas and New Year Period.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Positions are available for Late nights, Saturday and Sunday working.

Customer Service Assistant - responsibilities;

• Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance
• Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently
• Maintaining good communication especially on the radio to ensure customer service achieved in a timely manner
• Maintaining good, up-to-date knowledge of the layout of the centre
• Ensure personal compliance with Whitehall’s H&S guideline
• Packing of goods and customer carry outs is carried out in a professional and safe manner
• Maintains a harmonious and cooperative relationship with staff, managers and third parties
• Trolleys and baskets always available and trolleys cleared from the car park
• Heavy lifting will be required for this role * Trolleys
• Helping in other departments as required, including working on the tills during busy periods
