Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, is hiring a Customer Service Assistant. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, providing excellent service, stocking shelves, processing payments and helping maintain the store’s appearance.

You will engage with customers to improve service, participate in coaching, and help keep the store safe and welcoming while ensuring accurate pay for hours worked. Post Office Local duties may apply where relevant.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service
• Stock shelves and maintain store appearance
• Process payments at the tills and handle transactions
• Assist across all store areas including online orders and replenishment
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
• Post Office Local duties may require a background check if applicable

Responsibilities

• Serve customers at tills and provide accurate checkout experience
• Assist customers with inquiries and guidance throughout store
• Stock and replenish shelves to ensure product availability
• Maintain store cleanliness, organisation and safety throughout shifts
• Support shift leaders in daily store operations when needed
