Job summary

Tesco, operating through its One Stop subsidiary, is looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced retail environment. You will deliver excellent customer service, stock shelves, process payments and help keep the store looking its best.

You will be involved in on-the-job coaching and feedback, working across store areas to meet customer needs while upholding safety policies. If this store has a Post Office Local, duties will include day-to-day Post Office operations requiring

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers.
• Stock shelves and keep the store tidy and well-presented.
• Process payments at tills and assist with replenishment and stock routines.
• Respond quickly to customer needs and help maintain store safety and cleanliness.
• Follow training and safety procedures to ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Support in seasonal, community and charity events when required.
• If applicable, perform Post Office Local duties and pass required background checks.
