Job summary

One Stop, part of Tesco, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced retail team. You will help customers, stock shelves, process payments and keep the store looking welcoming.

You will work across all areas of the store, take part in training and feedback, and ensure safety and accuracy in the hours you work. If this store has a Post Office Local, duties may include post office operations and related checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers.
• Stock shelves and keep the store tidy.
• Process payments at tills.
• Help maintain the store's appearance.
• Work across all store areas including online, tills, replenishment, vending and stock routines.
• Follow training and safety procedures.
• Engage in seasonal, community and charity events.
• Follow Think 25 policy when serving age restricted products.
• If the store has a Post Office Local, duties may include post office operations and background checks.
