Job summary

One Stop, part of Tesco, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced retail team. You will be central to delivering friendly, accurate service, processing payments, stocking shelves, and helping maintain store presentation and safety.

The role supports across tills, online fulfilment, replenishment and customer care. We value customer-focused individuals who can contribute to feedback loops, ensure accurate clock-in/out, and participate in community events where applicable.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Able to handle payments accurately and warmly.
• A willingness to work across store areas including online fulfilment and tills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Stock shelves and ensure store presentation is maintained.
• Process payments accurately at the till and handle transactions efficiently.
• Assist with replenishment and stock routines to meet customer needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized store area and follow safety procedures.
• Engage with customers to collect feedback and contribute to continuous service improvements.
• Support the team during shifts and help cover responsibilities as needed.
• If applicable, participate in local community and events to enhance customer experience.
