Mole Valley Farmers in Stamford is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to provide outstanding service and support product availability and presentation. The role involves stock management, merchandising, and helping customers with knowledge and enthusiasm.

The position is permanent, part-time, 14.5 hours per week, with Saturday and Sunday work. Training is provided, and a focus on customer-first values guides daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service that is friendly, respectful and solution-focused.
• Support the store team in maximising sales opportunities through product knowledge.
• Take ownership of a designated department and drive sales through merchandising and promotions.
• Review stock levels and adjust seasonally to meet customer needs.
• Process goods inwards and maintain stock file accuracy.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and the store is well-presented.
• Becoming proficient in cash handling and following company procedures.
• Work in line with health & safety guidelines and GDPR compliance.

About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part-time

Hours of Work: 14.5 Hours per week, working Saturday and Sunday

As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll play an important part in maximising store performance by delivering outstanding service and supporting the presentation and availability of products. From assisting with stock management to offering knowledgeable advice, you’ll ensure every interaction reflects our values: Customer First, Honest, Committed, Knowledgeable, Courageous, and Innovative.

Key responsibilities
