Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers is seeking a friendly Customer Service Assistant in Gillingham to deliver exceptional service and support product availability. This part-time role involves working on a rota basis and delivering knowledge-based assistance to customers.

You will contribute to stock presentation, promotions, and store standards while adhering to health & safety and GDPR requirements. Training is provided, and a strong team ethos is encouraged.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent, friendly, respectful and solution‑focused customer service.

• Process goods inwards and maintain stock accuracy.

Hours: Part-time

Hours of Work: 31 Hours per week, working on a rota basis

As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll play an important part in maximising store performance by delivering outstanding service and supporting the presentation and availability of products. From assisting with stock management to offering knowledgeable advice, you’ll ensure every interaction reflects our values: Customer First, Honest, Committed, Knowledgeable, Courageous, and Innovative.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering excellent customer service that is friendly, respectful, and solution-focused
• Supporting the store team in maximising sales opportunities through product knowledge
• Taking ownership of a designated department and driving sales through merchandising and promotions
• Reviewing stock levels and adjusting seasonally to meet customer needs
• Processing goods inwards and maintaining stock file accuracy
• Ensuring visual merchandising standards are met and the store is well-presented
• Becoming proficient in cash handling and following company procedures
• Working in line with health & safety guidelines and GDPR compliance

About You
