Job summary

Countrystyle Recycling Ltd is recruiting a Customer Service Apprentice to join the Commercial team in Sittingbourne. You will work toward a Level 3 Customer Service Specialist apprenticeship, handling customer queries, supporting service improvements and building strong client relationships.

Ideally you are friendly, organised and able to work Monday to Friday, with good English and maths GCSEs. This is a permanent, full-time role offering hands-on development in waste management.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or willingness to undertake Functional Skills).
• Commitment to completing Level 3 Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship.
• Willingness to learn and develop in the waste management sector.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for commercial customers via phone, email and other channels.
• Refer complex queries for escalation and ensure timely resolution.
• Build and maintain relationships with commercial customers and manage expectations.
• Log, track and manage customer interactions using the CRM system.
• Support continuous service improvements through feedback and data analysis.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance and Transport to resolve issues end-to-end.
• Contribute to customer reports and account management activities.
• Undertake learning and development activities as part of the apprenticeship.
