Job summary

Chesterfield Borough Council is offering a 15-month apprenticeship in the Customer Services Team within Digital HR and Customer Services. You will learn to resolve enquiries at first contact and guide residents to digital services, working in a fast-paced environment.

Training towards the customer service practitioner (level 2) qualification, with a supportive team and flexible development opportunities.

Qualifications

• GCSE grade 4 (C) or above in maths and English.
• Apprenticeship or qualification must be at a lower level or in a different subject area.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for residents and customers.
• Provide information, help and advice across council services.
• Resolve enquiries at first point of contact where possible.
• Encourage customers to access services digitally where available.
• Support delivery of services to meet customer needs and expectations.
• Work as part of a team to deliver an efficient customer experience.
• Collaborate with other teams to improve service efficiency.
