Job summary
DPD Group in Burgess Hill is seeking a customer service professional to assist both internal and external customers with parcel collection and delivery queries. You will work closely with Drivers, Shift Managers and Operations Managers to resolve issues and ensure a smooth delivery process.
You will handle delivery status inquiries, POD requests, missing parcel investigations, and promote DPD products and services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fast-paced customer service environments.
- Strong communication skills and confident telephone manner.
- Polite and professional at all times with willingness to go the extra mile.
- Excellent administration skills and ability to use Microsoft Office programmes.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative to effectively problem solve.
Responsibilities
- Assist internal and external customers with parcel collection or delivery queries.
- Collaborate with Drivers, Shift Managers and Operations Managers to identify and resolve issues.
- Provide delivery status updates and supply Proof of Delivery (POD).
- Investigate missing parcels and resolve delivery disputes.
- Promote DPD products and services to customers.
