Job summary

North East Combined Authority in South Shields seeks a Customer Service Advisor to provide high-quality, face-to-face assistance at the Town Hall reception. You will handle enquiries as the first point of contact, resolving requests efficiently while maintaining a welcoming environment for all customers.

Working Monday to Friday, 10.00 am – 3.00 pm, on site. The role offers a competitive benefits package with a closing date of 28 October 2026. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

£29,542 pa pro rata

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 10.00 am – 3.00 pm

You will provide an excellent customer focused service by delivering consistently high quality assistance to our customers by answering and resolving their enquiries as the first point of contact and dealing with their requests for service efficiently and effectively.

This role is face to face based at the customer reception at the Town Hall, South Shields, where you could be dealing with vulnerable customers and sensitive situations.
