Job summary

HRGO Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established care provider for compassionate and customer-focused Customer Service Advisors. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team where you will help families make important decisions about care for their loved ones.

The assignment is full-time, 12 weeks temporary with potential for permanency, at Boldon Colliery, Tyne and Wear, with training provided and a rate of £12.87 per hour.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Empathetic, patient and professional in sensitive situations.
• Experience in call centres, retail, hospitality or healthcare is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, voicemails and online enquiries.
• Listen with empathy and understand individual needs.
• Provide reassurance and guidance throughout the enquiry process.
• Book care home show rounds and appointments.
• Manage enquiries from first contact through to admission and scheduling follow-ups.
• Coordinate with care home teams for appointments and assessments.
• Handle calls from relatives, suppliers and job applicants professionally.
• Deliver outstanding customer experience at every stage.

Shift Pattern

The Customer Care Team operates during the following hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm

Responsibilities

• Handling inbound and outbound calls, voicemails and online enquiries
• Listening to customers with empathy and understanding their individual needs
• Providing reassurance and guidance throughout the enquiry process
• Booking care home show rounds and appointments
• Managing enquiries from first contact through to admissionScheduling follow-up calls and maintaining accurate records
• Liaising with care home teams to coordinate appointments and assessments
• Handling calls from relatives, suppliers and job applicants professionally
• Delivering an outstanding customer experience at every stage

Requirements

• Have excellent communication and listening skills
• Are compassionate, patient and empathetic
• Have previous customer service experience (call centre, retail, hospitality, healthcare or similar)
• Can remain calm and professional in sensitive situations
• Are confident using computer systems and updating customer records
• Take ownership of their workload and follow tasks through to completion
• Are flexible to work weekends on a rota basis
