Training is included to prepare you for this role.
Customer Service Advisor role:
You’ll be providing critical services as the first contact for anyone calling 999, including calls for the Police, Ambulance, Fire Rescue, Coast Guard, Mountain Rescue, to ensure people get the help they need, and it can save lives.
The safety-critical role of a Customer Service Advisor is to quickly understand the nature of the call and direct callers to the appropriate emergency services or suggest alternative solutions. This role involves supporting individuals in their most critical moments, often handling challenging and emotional situations.
Your average call will last between 30-60 seconds, during which you'll follow structured processes and communicate clearly and calmly. If you have a genuine desire to help people and make a difference, this role is highly rewarding.

Pay:
£13.24 - £31.27 per hour, depending on shift days and times. Full pay rates are listed below.
Overtime rates (including holidays):
£40.26 - £44.69 per hour for Christmas Day.
