Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in busy customer service or customer sales.
• Previous sales experience with a track record of meeting targets.

• Detail-oriented with good organisational skills.
• Proactive attitude to spot opportunities and follow through.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to enquiries and quotation requests by phone and email.
• Prepare tailored quotations by understanding customer needs.
• Identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell and suggest alternatives.
• Follow up on quotations to convert opportunities into orders.
• Keep customer records and order information up to date.
• Collaborate with sales, production, warehouse and suppliers to deliver service.
• Manage incoming inquiries through an email system and stay on workload.
• Work towards individual and team targets for sales revenue and quotation conversion.
