Job summary

Adecco is recruiting an Evening Customer Order Processor in Cockermouth. The role involves handling high volumes of orders received by voicemail, email and online portals, entering orders accurately and ensuring they are processed before cut-off times.

Responsibilities include managing the sales inbox, processing credits, answering enquiries via live chat and email, and making outbound calls to resolve issues.

Customer Order Processor (Evenings)

Location Cockermouth

Pay

Pay £13.55 per hour (inclusive of evening shift uplift)

Hours

Hours 5 evening out of 6 - Sunday to Friday

Working Pattern

Sunday: 5:00pm - Midnight

Monday to Friday: 6:00/7:00pm - Midnight

2-5 nights per week will be considered

Job Role

Process high volumes of customer orders received via:

• Voicemail
• Email
• Online ordering portals

Enter orders accurately and efficiently within order cut-off times.

Monitor and manage the sales inbox, prioritising urgent customer requests.

Process customer credits and assist with account enquiries.

Respond to customer enquiries via live chat and email.

Make outbound calls to resolve:

• Order queries
• Product shortages
• Customer complaints

Work closely with our Night Assembly Team to ensure orders are ready before nightly dispatch deadlines.

Maintain accurate customer records and update company systems.

Deliver exceptional accuracy while working to strict deadlines.
