Job summary

Skipton Building Society is recruiting a Customer Relationship Consultant to join our Otley branch. You will understand customer needs, present savings products and services, and engage with customers in branch, online and over the phone to deliver a first-class service.

You will build relationships, review financial goals with customers, and guide them to suitable solutions while upholding our customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• You will have previous experience of interacting with customers.
• Experience in a Contact Centre environment may be beneficial.
• Experience in retail, food & beverage, guest services or health/care sectors is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand needs and tailor appropriate solutions for them and the Society.
• Be the first point of contact in branch with enthusiasm and a desire to help customers.
• Conduct My Review appointments face to face, virtually or by telephone.
• Proactively contact customers by phone to discuss needs and opportunities.
• Educate customers on a range of products and services and available channels to engage with us.
• Use internal systems to maintain accurate customer records and identify vulnerable customers.
