Job summary

Speedy Hire PLC in Newport, South Wales, is seeking a Customer Relationship Executive on a fixed-term contract for up to 12 months. You will be the main contact for customers, building relationships, handling enquiries and delivering a high level of service.

You will identify opportunities to support business growth and work closely with sales, hire and operations to meet customer requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, account management, or hire desk roles.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with customers at all levels.
• Proactive, customer-focused approach with drive for great service.
• Good commercial awareness and ability to spot growth opportunities.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Confidence handling enquiries, resolving problems, and finding solutions.
• Good IT skills and experience using customer management or business systems.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to the team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Act as a key contact for customer enquiries with a professional service.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and hire solutions.
• Manage customer accounts and support delivery of service levels.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue through hire opportunities.
• Work with sales, hire and operations to meet customer requirements.
• Proactively contact customers to maintain relationships and generate opportunities.
• Resolve customer queries and concerns for a positive experience.
• Process hire enquiries, quotations and orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate customer records and keep internal systems updated.
• Support customer retention with a reliable and responsive service.
