Boots Opticians is seeking an Optical Assistant to be the first and last point of contact for customers in-store in the United Kingdom. You will build relationships, listen to needs and help customers find the right eyewear and services, from greeting to pre-screening activities and eye-tests support.

Based in-store, you will develop your knowledge through our Step Into Optics training programme, with a blend of workshop learning and practical on-the-job experience, including aftercare, repairs

Responsibilities

• Order, dispense and collect glasses and contact lenses
• Support with eye-tests and pre-screening activities
• Provide aftercare support through repairs and adjustments
• Complete operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions
