Job summary

Hireful in Peterborough is seeking an Internal Sales professional to join a busy team on-site. You will develop and nurture long-term relationships with customers, respond to inquiries with clear product, pricing and stock guidance, and prepare accurate quotations for bespoke proposals.

The role emphasizes proactive engagement, strong communication, and a detail-oriented approach to support growth in a specialist manufacturing market.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an internal sales or customer-facing role; a technical, engineering or manufacturing background would be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prepare accurate quotations and documentation.
• Strong communication skills with confidence speaking to customers by phone and email.
• Proactive, organized approach with the enthusiasm to learn new products and build technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

If you enjoy sales, building long-term customer relationships and delivering excellent service, this is a fantastic Internal Sales opportunity to join a sales team in Peterborough where working together genuinely matters.

Join a long-established, family-owned manufacturing supplier that values its people and has built a strong reputation for quality, service and reliability. Working as part of a supportive internal sales team, you'll be a key point of contact for customers, building strong relationships and delivering a professional, customer-focused service.

Location: Based onsite Monday to Friday in Peterborough, with the role commutable from Stamford, Wittering, Yaxley, Whittlesey, Hampton, Oundle, St Ives, Market Deeping and surrounding areas.

Salary: Up to £30,000 with OTE of £38,000 per annum

What you'll be doing:
