Job summary

Solus is seeking a Customer Consultant to provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and organised site coordination. You will support customers during their repair journey and handle vehicle handovers and transport needs on a day-to-day basis.

The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail and empathy to enhance customer confidence and experience at the Solus site.

Qualifications

• We don't require formal qualifications; success depends on people skills, responsibility and hands-on approach.
• Strong customer service experience, ideally in a customer-facing role.
• A full UK driving licence, with confidence driving customer vehicles.
• Clear and professional communication, face-to-face and over the phone.
• A calm and organised approach, even with multiple tasks.
• Pride in representing the business when interacting with customers.
• A positive, team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicle repair.
• Handle queries calmly and professionally, providing clear and timely responses.
• Collect and deliver customer vehicles safely and courteously when required.
• Arrange and coordinate vehicle movements and transport activity.
• Support site operations, including parts coordination and basic administration.
• Work closely with technicians, production teams and site leaders.
• Help maintain a welcoming, organised and professional site environment.
