Job summary

Solus is seeking a Customer Consultant to support customers through their repair journey and help keep site operations running smoothly day to day. You will coordinate vehicle movements, handle queries, and maintain a professional, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

This hands-on role combines customer service, coordination and on-site duties, requiring reliability, attention to detail and a customer‑focussed approach. Training is provided and career progression is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service experience, ideally in a customer-facing role.
• Full UK driving licence, with confidence driving customer vehicles.
• Clear and professional communication skills, face-to-face and over the phone.
• A calm and organised approach, even when managing multiple tasks.
• Pride in representing the business when interacting with customers.
• A positive, team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicle repair.
• Handle queries calmly and professionally, providing clear and timely responses.
• Collect and deliver customer vehicles safely and courteously when required.
• Arrange and coordinate vehicle movements and transport activity.
• Support site operations, including parts coordination and basic administration.
• Work closely with technicians, production teams and site leaders.
• Help maintain a welcoming, organised and professional site environment.
