Job summary

Nationwide’s Virgin Money branch in Kirkintilloch seeks a Customer Consultant to support customers in person and over the phone, guiding them through everyday banking and digital tools. The role is permanent, full-time (35 hours/week, Monday–Saturday) with training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or a passion to work in a customer service environment.
• Able to stay calm under pressure and adapt to busy, changing situations.
• Comfortable using technology and digital banking tools.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to offer trusted, friendly help.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately, prioritising security and fairness.
• Help customers get the most from digital services, making banking easier and more accessible.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that are right for them.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service, especially at peak times.
• Follow processes and escalate concerns to protect customers.
