Job summary

Marks & Spencer in the United Kingdom is hiring an Operations Assistant to be the backstage powerhouse of our stores. It’s a physically demanding, high‑intensity role that keeps our shops running like clockwork.

You’ll be responsible for stock, deliveries and all the vital behind‑the‑scenes work to keep the floor full, clean and ready for customers. You’ll work across the store with a digitally confident, team‑oriented mindset, and there is an unsocial premium of £3.00 per hour for hours between

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older due to early morning hours.
• Able to work early mornings and weekends.
• Comfortable with physical demands of stock and deliveries.

• Manage stock and deliveries and all behind-the-scenes work to keep the shop floor full, clean and ready for customers.
• Move products quickly and accurately to keep flow of stock.

You’ll be responsible for stock, deliveries, and all the vital behind-the-scenes work that ensures our shop floor stays full, clean, and ready for our customers to shop. There’s no room for delay. You’ll be fast, focused, and always one step ahead, keeping the flow of products moving with urgency and accuracy.

• Being digitally confident is essential. You’ll use digital tools confidently to track deliveries and manage stock efficiently, always focused on availability and speed.

• Flexibility is vital. From early morning deliveries to shifting stock late into the day, you’ll adapt quickly to keep things moving.
