Job summary

Marks & Spencer in Hastings is hiring a Customer Assistant in Operations to be the backstage powerhouse of the store. It is a physically demanding, high-intensity role that keeps our stores running like clockwork.

You will handle stock, deliveries and all behind-the-scenes work to ensure the shop floor stays full, clean and ready for our customers. Flexibility is vital; you’ll work across the wider store as needed, adapting to early morning deliveries and late stock shifts.

Work Pattern

Sunday: 06:00 - 14:00

Saturday: 04:45 - 12:00

Being digitally confident is essential. You'll use digital tools confidently to track deliveries and manage stock efficiently, always focused on availability and speed.

Being a team player is essential. You'll be a key cog in a big machine, working across functions and supporting colleagues across the store.

Flexibility is vital. From early morning deliveries to shifting stock late into the day, you'll adapt quickly to keep things moving.
