Job summary

EUROSPAR Portaferry in Portaferry, Northern Ireland, is seeking a Customer Advisor for a part-time role. You will operate checkouts, replenish stock, merchandise products, and ensure accurate pricing to provide friendly, efficient service during store hours.

Shifts run 7:00am–11:00pm, 24 hours per week, with flexibility and weekday morning availability essential. Henderson Group offers benefits and staff discounts and supports development and teamwork.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required; training provided.
• Ability to cover a range of shifts within store hours.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate checkouts accurately and process transactions efficiently.
• Replenish stock daily and follow stock rotation guidelines.
• Merchandise stock and ensure correct shelf edge labeling and pricing.
• Deliver high levels of customer service to shoppers at all times.
• Occasionally cover the Post Office as required.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

As Customer Advisor you will be required to;

• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotation process.
• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.
• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.
• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.
• You may be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.
• Any other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success
