Job summary

Henderson Group is seeking a Customer Advisor for a full-time, permanent role in Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. The position offers 37.5 hours per week with flexible shifts across Monday to Sunday, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

You will greet customers, advise on products, operate checkouts, and help maintain stock levels and pricing while delivering excellent service. Training is provided, and equal opportunity employment is emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Listen to and understand customer needs; advise on products and services.
• Operate all checkouts accurately and process transactions efficiently.
• Ensure stock is replenished daily with proper stock rotation.
• Merchandise stock effectively and ensure correct pricing with shelf edge labels.
• Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
• May cover the Post Office and deli department when required.
• Undertake any other duties as required for the role.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

As Customer Advisor you will be required to;

• Listening to and understanding our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services.
• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotation process.
• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.
• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.
• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.
• You may be required to cover the Post Office and within the deli department when required as part of this role.
• Any other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success
