Job summary

Henderson Group is seeking a part-time Customer Advisor in Millisle, Northern Ireland. The role covers 12 hours per week, with shifts across mornings, evenings and weekends within store hours 7:00am–11:00pm, Monday to Sunday.

You will assist in smooth store operations and provide excellent customer service in a busy retail environment. Reported to the Store Management Team, responsibilities include checkout processing, stock replenishment and merchandising, with potential to cover the Post

• No prior retail experience required; training provided.
• Customer-focused with a positive attitude and energy.
• Flexible to cover shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate all checkouts accurately and process transactions efficiently.
• Replenish stock daily while following stock rotation policy.
• Merchandise stock to boost sales and ensure correct shelf pricing.
• Maintain correct shelf edge labeling and product displays.
• Deliver high levels of customer service at all times.
• May cover the Post Office when required.
• Other duties as required for the role.

Part-time positions available at 12 hours per week. Availability to cover shifts within the opening hours of the store, 7:00am – 11:00pm, Monday to Sunday, with a degree of flexibility required. Please note this role will involve working Morning, Evening and Weekend shifts.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

As Customer Advisor you will be required to;

• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotation process.
• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.
• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.
• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.
• You may be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.
• Any other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success
