Job summary

Henderson Group, owner of EUROSPAR/MAXOL stores in Glenavy-Crumlin, is hiring a part-time Customer Advisor. The role focuses on delivering friendly customer service, operating tills, and keeping stock replenished to support store performance.

Part-time hours are 12–20 per week with shifts across afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Full training is provided; prior retail experience is not required.

• No prior retail experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Listen to customers' needs and advise on products/services.
• Operate checkouts accurately and process transactions efficiently.
• Replenish stock daily following rotation.
• Merchandise stock to boost sales.
• Display stock with correct price labels.
• Maintain high level of customer service at all times.
• May cover Post Office duties when required.
• Undertake other duties as required.

Up to £13.30 per hour depending on your age & benefits.

Part-time positions availalable at 12-20 hours per week.

Availability within the hours of Monday - Friday with some degree of flexibility required for afternoons from 2pm, evening availability essential from 5pm until 11pm.

Saturday and Sunday availability from 6am till 11pm.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

Responsibilities

• Listening to and understanding our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services.
• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotation process.
• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.
• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.
• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.
• You may be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.
• Any other duties as required for the role.
