Job summary

Henderson Group is hiring a Customer Advisor in Coleraine for 15 hours per week. You will work 4pm–midnight Monday–Friday and 6:00am–midnight Saturday/Sunday with some flexibility. Pay ranges £11.95–£13.30 per hour based on age and benefits, and you may cover Post Office duties as part of the role.

The role involves delivering first-class customer service, enabling stock replenishment, and ensuring accurate pricing and merchandising across the store.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as per shift patterns.
• Excellent communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis and deliver high standard customer service.
• Operate checkouts accurately and process customer transactions efficiently.
• Replenish stock daily and rotate stock according to the company policy.
• Merchandise stock to enhance sales and ensure correct pricing with shelf labels.
• Contribute to maintaining a high level of customer service at all times.
• Assist with Post Office duties when required and perform other duties as needed.

A look into the role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, you will assist in the efficient running of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that a high standards of customer service, is achieved at all times.

• Listening to and understanding our customers' needs and advising customers about our products and services.
• Operate all checkouts accurately, ensuring customer transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that stock on a daily basis stock is replenished while complying with the company stock rotation process.
• Ensure that stock is effectively merchandised to enhance sales.
• Make sure that all stock is displayed at the correct price using the corresponding Shelf Edge Label.
• To actively ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained within the store at all times.
• You may be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.
• Any other duties as required for the role.
